Eileen Gleeson is a Chartered Director, the Programme Director for the Chartered Director Programme in Ireland, and a member of the Professional Development Advisory Committee. Eileen has been a director of 16 companies in business over the past 30 years, at Chair, non-executive, and executive levels. She has advised some of Ireland’s leading business and political leaders on communications and public affairs, including seven years as Advisor to the President of Ireland, Mary McAleese. Eileen has served as a non-executive director on State boards, PLCs, financial services organisations, and family businesses.

Episode 4 - Dr David Doyle

Dr David Doyle is recognised across Europe as a leading expert on EU Financial Services Regulation and now acts as an EU Policy Advisor between Brussels and London, specialising in regulatory developments in Banking, Insurance, etc. He is a former Diplomat with over 20 years of service in mainland Europe at the bilateral and multilateral levels. 
He is also a member of the Executive Board of the joint MEP-EU industry advocacy body and the Kangaroo Group at the European Parliament and holds a seat on the board of directors of the Genesis initiative at Westminster that promotes entrepreneurship and SME policy. He is also active in the Transatlantic Business Council on Capital Markets and the Conference Board Corporate Governance Council.

Episode 3 features Orla Twomey, Chief Executive of the Advertising Standards Authority(ASAI). Orla is also Chair of the European Advertising Standards Alliance. Most members of the public have limited awareness of ASAI operations usually highlighted by decisions on complaints made about certain advertisements. In this podcast Orla gives a broad outline of ASAI processes and objectives.

Episode 2 features Tom Taylor, one of the most experienced independent non-executive directors in the UK Government Departmental Board sector. Tom is a Non-Executive Director at the Department for Levelling up, Housing and Communities, where he is Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee and leads NED for the Union. He is also a Non-Executive Chair of the NHS Counter Fraud Authority, an Independent Member of His Majesty's Revenue & Customs Audit Committee, and a Board Mentor for Critical Eye Ltd. Tom and I served on the Departmental  Board of the Department of Finance, Northern Ireland from 2017 to 2023.
